Our Member: Assa’adah Medical Centre

Here is a quote from their website

Assa’adah Medical Centre is a vanguard clinic for conducting PEME (Pre-Employment Medical Examination) in Jakarta – Indonesia. We have been engaged in this business since 1987. Hence, we know our business well, and we are devoted to it. A great deal of professional experiences in PEME through over comprehensive analysis and decision acumen form a part of our features that distinguish us from the novice.

And here is a summary about how their system architecture, and how it communicates with eMiSS:

Assa’adah Medical Centre’s information system is composed by two parts:

  1. SIMA, an internal system for managing and manipulating workforce’s medical test result. SIMA’s client in workforce registration department records workforce’s fingerprint, which then used to identify patient on other department, such as Laboratory, Radiology, and Physical Examination.
  2. eMISS, an online system located at https://www.bruneimedical.com. This website will list all fit workforce examined by Assa’adah Medical Centre.

The figure in the following page will describe the overall architecture, and interaction between SIMA and eMISS.

With this system architecture, Assa’adah Medical Centre’s medical certificate would always have the following qualities:

  • Strong Validity and Non-repudiation

A medical certificate is valid and released by Assa’adah Medical Centre if and only if the workforce is also recorded in eMISS.This quality will eliminate plain certificate forgery, because even the masterfully forged certificate wouldn’t have the patient recorded in eMISS.

The non-repudiation quality is the reverse concept of validity, i.e. Assa’adah cannot deny having examined workforce whose record published in eMISS.

  • Medical Sample Integrity

Internal fingerprint identification system within Ass’aadah Medical Centre ensures that urine sample, blood sample, and X-Ray scan belong to one person, that is, the person whose photograph attached in the medical certificate and uploaded in eMISS.
